In 1966, Hansruedi Hübscher had a groundbreaking idea: the founding of FS-Tankstelle in Wohlen. That same year, construction began on one of the first self-service gas stations in Switzerland, and shortly after, Hansruedi celebrated its grand opening. Equipped with just one fuel dispenser, the station offered Super and Regular Petrol (92 octane) – an innovative concept ahead of its time.
A fire that damaged only the roof of the station posed challenges for the family. However, thanks to its robust construction and the safety standards of that time, the damage was limited – a stroke of luck for the young gas station.
After nearly three decades, Hansruedi's son, Daniel Hübscher, took over FS-Tankstelle. With his vision and determination, he launched a major renovation that same year. The old station was entirely rebuilt and modernized to become the one we know today.
To meet customer needs, Daniel expanded the offering to include Diesel and Unleaded 95 Petrol. He remained committed to the self-service model and ensured that FS-Tankstelle stayed updated through continuous innovations.
Since
2018, Daniel's daughter,
Corina Hübscher, has brought a fresh perspective to the family business. As part of the third generation, her dedication ensures that FS-Tankstelle remains a welcoming place for all customers in Wohlen.
